Narration Olympus Festival
at Kallipeuki
The institution started in 2003, and is the warm response of the audience from all the parts of Greece that continues to preserve it.
The aim of the festival is to preserve and reinforce the act of storytelling as a way of interpreting and perceiving the world by man and as a means of self-perception, while investing in culture, preserving local history and oral tradition and coming close to nature, as the actions take place in the forest and in the shade of Olympus.
The festival has a flexible form of organization, with modules that meet the needs of all ages, diverse professions and occupations.
It includes narratives and stories from around the world for children and adults, that serve both as entertainment and portrayal of popular wisdom. It also includes scientific announcements, in the spirit of a festival, that highlight narrative issues in the broadest sense of the term, and its interconnection with other fields.
