The Gonnoi Folklore Museum opened its doors in September 2000. It is located very close to the central square of Gonnon and is housed in a 1855 house, donated by the A.U.TH. Professor A. Kontogiannis.

The museum presents collections of over 7,000 items of considerable value and of particular interest.

The presentation focuses on the cultivation of land and the processing of the products, the rural residence, the fishermen of Pinios. The traditional costumes and the costumes of the Thessalian livestock breeders are particularly united. Showcases with weapons, coins, jewelery, ceramics and embroideries enrich the exhibition.
