Ossa is a small and beautiful village, built amphitheatrically at the foot of Kissavos. Its Turkish name "Asarlik Ordi" means "fortress of the camp".

The trademark of Ossa is the two imposing multi-century old cypresses, located at the entrance of the village.

In the district of Kokkinochoma, "koulia" towers are saved, the sole remains from the Turkish occupation of the area.
